Good luck to Snodgrass, good business 8mil give yourself a pat on back the NCFC board. Now the smoke screen will start to throw you of the cent to where this 8 mil disepears to. I see first was they have bid 5 mill for Deeney and 10 mil for Mrcormack, along with Fulham. I wonder how far or near to the actual truth any of is. If so any of this is true why buy Lafferty? Still no mention of a centrel defender, and I don't think Snodgrass will be the last to move on for good money. Would be happy to lock the gates at Colney with Bassong on the outside and go with what we've got, and may be splash some cash in jan. opinions!! -

1.) Look guys I know bassong was awful last season but I think he felt to much pressure on his shoulders after setting the bar so high the season before, I'd still argue the fact he was never fully fit all season and because of this it looked as though he was disinterested sloppy and pretty hopeless however I think a fully fit bassong a bassong playing in the championship for a season will be a rock once again and give him some confidence back. I really think we should give him one a chance play him along side Ryan bennett a player of youth and good talent. As for the rest of the team I think we will hold onto everyone else except fer and olsson but I don't think we will choose to sell I think it will be weather they want to jump ship. If we can hold onto these guys we will have one strong side for the championship. Rvw will go out on loan though that's why we bought lafferty in as cover for hooper grabbon and loza

2.) Fear wants to stay as does rvw, they've stated as much but I guess in reality it's not always true what these blokes say

3.) I'd have to agree with giving Bassong a go again this season but on the proviso that if he costs us points in the first few games, he's out and not given more time as per old regime. I think we'll keep hold of the rest and don't see the need to go for Deeney and/or McCormack as they won't like being equals to some of our lads rather than the big stars they are at their clubs. Hooper and RvW to fire us back up for me.

4.) 7 Million for a one footed player who if he had a right foot might have scored a few more vital goals when he had chances, seems to me to be a very good deal

5.) Wasn't sure why Laferty to begin with, but upon reflection, 40 odd games in the championship plus cups, allowing for injuries and loss of form etc 5 plus strikers could easily be a significant advantage. However, the same applies to defenders and midfield as well, so, still a case for further use of the Snodgrass revenue to develop a healthy completion for starting places. After all, cash in the bank won't seem nearly so attractive if promotion is missed for a hapeth of tar.

6.) Bassong is dreadful, he got us and Wolves relegated.

7.) Bassong was also playing for Newcastle when they got relegated so it 3 times in 4 years he has been relegated from the Prem.

8.) Leave him alone he's a solid cb

9.) 'solid cb' wow what were you watching last year?

10.) I don't really think there is any need for debate on Bassong. He was awful last year, and I think he will have made it clear that he no longer wants to be here since Hughton has gone.

Just read Palmero club president summing up of Kyle Laferty on news now, anyone with a min spear take look, because I think we have just bought a modern day George best, sadly it is his off the field tactics where the similarity comes from and his country of Origen, you wouldn't mention his name in the same breath as George best on the field. Unbelievable gob smacked.

roey 61

1.) Have we bought him though?
its taking a long time to announce if we have actually done so?
Maybe terms can't be agreed?
Maybe he's failed the medical?
Maybe we've got other "Irons In The Fire"
Especially if we are getting some decent money for Snodgrass. Maybe we could be targeting a more expensive (Better!) Striker?
I'll probably be proved wrong, and he'll be announced as our new player at some point soon, but surely we should be waiting till that announcement takes place before moaning about his ability as a player, and previous record elsewhere?

2.) I don't recall him signing?

3.) My club has now turned into a joke. Looking too sign Kyle Lolferty! Look at any other multimedia sites too see what rival, and non rival fans think of him. It's not positive. But then again I will shouted down by the happy clappers, who think it's great too sign a player who sleeps around, doesn't train. Otbc

4.) It never did best any harm ( well not during his playing days )

5.) OK, it is confirmed,
Laugh-erty has signed.!
:- (

6.) Womaniser. at least we know he can score.
Icecanary

7.) No. no. no. no. He's signed from July 1st.
It's hard enough to live in the north being an NCFC fan now I just get laughed at.

Tazdevil.

8.) Palermo's player of the season, obviously appreciated over there by the fans. An exaggerated Italians justification for losing a fans favourite has the Norwich faithful in doubt. I'll be judging him on the the pitch. Otbc Don't trust an Italian!

Hull seem to be the latest destination for Snodgrass, no one has been linked with Martin or Bassong strange. May be we will have to raffle them off.

roey 61

1.) Really, why would anyone want to go to Hull? Unless of course you are a foreigner who knows jack about the place or a player that no one else wants {Ed015's Note - Premier League, pay rise, Euro football and closer to Scotland.}

2.) You forgot mercenary, money grabbing, quitter, not to mention uprooting a young family again

3.) Give him a break! He hasn't said he's going and he's one of our best players!

4.) I was referring to Ed's comments not Snoddy, I was making a point of what was the attraction of Hull versus us. I want him to stay

Get ready for cheap answer to our vacant mangers position. With a technical directors position now on the agenda, that means there not going pay top dollar for a top manger not many top mangers like to work with a tec director. I hope I am off the mark but don't be surprised N A gets the job. 1 out of 15 points can't believe he's in the running. Stinks off Gunney gate all over again.

roey 61

1.) There's nothing wrong in taking time to appoint the so called "Right Man", the problem is, you look very unprofessional and amateurish when making sweeping statements about having things wrapped up in 7days, and then nothing happens, thus the natives get restless!

2.) Don't forget they also made the statement "We will not get relegated" in the not too distant past.
Therefore I think all statements made by the Board should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I see today's opposition has been changed from a serie c side to serie D side, now as optimistic as I try to be for the new season, and with the short comings of the ins and outs of the back room staffs. that's with out the same for playing staff in the next few weeks which will shurly happen. I hope NA will be a bit more organised on the pitch. With regards to a CD no hint of any of any names on the transfer front not to mention a replacement for Snodgrass, or the 7 plus mil we got for him. It all frustrating for the NCFC fans trying to be positive after two years of cock ups by the board since PL left.

roey 61

1.) No new additions to the squad yet but that boy Adel Gafaiti had a game. He's knocking on the door of the 1st team mark my words. Transfer activity will happen before the window shuts so calm down. NA knows what he's doing. You can't rush into these things like a headless chicken and end up coming unstuck.

City one of two clubs given permission to talk to Callum Wilson, don't know where that leaves Wolfie and Hooper if we do sign him. Really not a bench mark signing more one for the future, as we already have one in Loza I am baffled by this interest. Personally I think for some reason which is beyond me! Wolfie and Hooper have got to be worth 40 plus goals in the championship but I think the wage bill will dictate our promotion challenge. Or is this another cheap option again. Again no mention of a centrel defender. On a closing note, we must go all out to keep Fer, going to be a huge advantage in our league.

If city was just testing the water all well an good , if that's the case they should go back with a serious bid . At the moment they seem to be a million miles apart , also same old story no plan B if this doesn't come to fruit . This should all be done behind closed doors , not in the press!!!

There's no way Adams should of ever been given the job full time let alone still be in it, the guy is so far out his depth. i think the fans booing at the end of the game was more directed at the board than the players. Apart from Lambert, witch was a fluke, there track record on a opointments of mangers is. We lack direction on and of the field.

We have one big chance of going up, and this will depend on who the next manger is. As much as I like Neil Adams, he is not that manger, but should be kept with in the clubs coaching structure. 1 in 12 points record so far is worse than Bryan Gunns and as you are judged by points at the end of a season not how pretty your football is . Looking at the goal diff col the bottom three are correct and very really lies.

Just read various reports of Adams press conference. He thinks he has done a good job. 1point out of 12 so far. I know he was given a massive task, but what planet he on?
