Signing players on permanent contracts is better for the club. It shows commitment from the player. The only player we signed on loan last year and that was due a failure to sign him at the end of the transfer window.

Look at the loan signs we have made in the past. We went down to league one with a squad packed with loaners. Harry Kane didn't make at Carrow road partly due to injury. It doesn't help us in the long run if we are just a nursery club for the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd or arsenal.

Or are clubs loaning out players to cut their losses on a player who can't make it in the EPL. I can think of one such player RVW.

for Norwich to survive it is better to invest in hungry committed players than fill the squad with loan players who are only here in the sort term.

Why do we want to put our players out on loan, not a priority to help the club but for our players to gain experience do we care if they make mistakes along the way.

I would scrap the loan system it makes for a level playing field. It would make for a better U21 league. At championship level stop some teams over performing. Where would Middlesborough have finished with out Patrick Bamford

Kyle naughton, henri lansbury, dani pacheco, peter crouch. Just four examples of successful loan signings that city have made in the past. Want an even better one? Huckerby!! Loans can be a lifeline to teams like Norwich allowing us to bring in quality that we otherwise couldn't afford. If a young player with potential finds himself loaned out to a club (particularly in the prem) it is in their interest to perform. That's a win win for the club. Embrace the loaners people!

Agree with the reply, its also not just about the club, it helps young talent reach the next level and progress for our country, we've had Ryan Bertrand, Kieran Gibbs , Harry Kane, Kyle Naughton, Fraser Forster. All becoming Englands future and we've helped all of them develop
