Norwich are locked in negotiations with Napoli for their centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

Must be favorites to sign him as Southampton who were also interested are confident they will be able to prise defender Virgil van Dijk away from Celtic

Norwich rumoured to have made ~8M pound bid, Napoli said to be wanting more like 11million. If clubs don't want or need to get rid of a defender this must be the worst time to put a bid in?

Apparently Bayer Leverkeusen are also in the running for Koulibaly.

Michael Turner has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan.

It was expected that Michael Turner would sign permanently and Gary Hooper would sign on a season long long.

Is there anything to read into this.

Grabban is almost definitely on his way out of the club. Does that mean that Gary Hooper is now required?

Are we after Virgil Van Dijk and Gary Hooper is bate.

If both Grabban and Hooper leave we will need two forwards not one. Gayle and Benik Afobe would be a good option.

I agree Gayle and Afobe would be great additions, young hungry and with pace! Also now Turner has gone we must have a replacement lined up, hopefully Koubaily or nkoulou

Bournemouth have offer 2 million for Grabban, less than Norwich paid for him last year.

Grabban walking out at Rotherham has weakened Norwich's hand.

To remove their investment in Grabban they need at least 5 million.

At best you could say Grabban in a good Championship striker. He is out of his depth in the Premiership.

It has been reported that Wolves have turn down Norwich 3rd Offer of 10 Million for Benik Afobe. If Norwich want him they will have to pay over the odds.

Alex Neil flew to Marseille on Sunday with Chief Exec, David McNally by private jet to watch Marseille thump Troyes 6-0.

Neil was watching Marseille's Cameroon International, Nicolas Nkoulou. He is a team mate of Bassong so there might be some mileage in this.

It could be all change on the striker front at Norwich

a) Norwich have made a substantial offer for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Benik Afobe. This fits what we have been saying young, fit, fast and he played with Nathan Redmond in the European Under-21 Chamionships.

b) Norwich Have also cast an eye over Nikica Jelavic. Although he played for Hull last season in the premiership he doesn't fit the bill. Reportedly on 55,000 a week, expensive at 6 million for his age.

c) Bournemouth could be interested in resigning Lewis Grabban, Norwich want close to 10 million for him. If they got offered that I would snap Bournemouth's hands off.

d) Celtic, Middlesborough and Hull all interested in Gary Hooper.

I cannot see Bournemouth paying anywhere near that. They know exactly how good he is, and they wouldn't want to pay over double what they sold him for so recently.

Adobe is an exciting prospect however with the value of Prem football it is difficult to see Wolves selling. It is a bit like us asking them to trade a promotion opportunity for the profit in selling us this player. This is one for January if at all and only then if Wolves are out of the promotion race. Our board must be aware of this.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Norwich have entered the race to sign Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly before the transfer window closes at the end of this month.

As Alex Neil has gone on record that he wants to sign a forward before we play Sunderland any player who has scored seems to suggested.

The latest is Ross McCormack, Fulham are meant trying for him to sign a new contract always a sign someone is interested in him. £11m Fulham spent on him might be an issue for a none proven Premier quality forward.

The Mattia Destro rumour is an interesting one. Not the English born player we said we were interested in.

Middlesborough seem to be in for strikers as well. Not only are they also meant to be interested in Ross McCormack but they could be interested in Gary Hooper.

Sell Gary Hoopper and RVW on a season long loan could we afford Charlie Austin at £13m.

The Daily Reflection claims we are interested in signing Ricky lambert. A player over 30 but might do a job for us for a season.

Wilson Palacios has impressed Hull City manager Steve Bruce during a trial period after being released by Stoke and may be offered a deal with the club.

I know Palacios does play in the same position as Robbie Brady, but Wilson Palacios wage demands could be high. Would Bruce be more willing to let Robbie Brady GO?

No Hooper or Grabban in the side at Rotherham. RVW playing up front on his own.

According to Sky Sport Norwich City are closing in on the striker of Argentine striker Joaquin Larrivey. So why would they be interested in Murphy. £4m for Murphy (32 years Old) or £2m for Larrivey (30 years Old).

Larrivey scored 11 La Liga goals in 35 appearances for Celta last season, how many goals would Murphy score in Premiership?

Celta Vigo are set to replace Norwich City-bound Joaquin Larrivey with former Manchester City striker John Guidetti, according to reports.

Larrivey has decided to leave Celta after running down his contract and looked set for Qatar, but Fichajes.com claims the former Cagliari forward will continue his career at Carrow Road.

The 30-year-old scored 11 goals in 35 appearances for the Galicians last season, having netted 12 for Rayo Vallecano the year before.

Reports say we are looking at the player we haven't made a bid yet (Sky Sports).

Lot of rumours about players coming in but very few about players leaving. Would have thought we would sell at least two strikers before we buy anyone else.
