In total agreement with Steve Bruce, our bids for Brady are an embarrassment, only last year we were demanding 7m for snoddy, I think we are out of order and penny pinching AGAIN

Don't you know how bidding works?should we go straight in with a high bid?.

2.) 09 Jul 2015 14:51:45
There is vast difference between bidding and taking the micheal, we have the money, they know we have the money, Brady is worth at least 5m in fact if shoddy is worth 7 then Brady is as well, we may well have now lost him for good because of your " bidding" game.

3.) 09 Jul 2015 18:54:03
Just because we have the money doesn't mean we should pay the asking price straight away. Yes they paid top price for Snoddy and yeah it backfired but doesn't mean we must do the same. I respect the club more for holding out for a better deal.

Disagree, I think it makes us look like penny pinching chancers and will have a detrimental effect on future business , have we learnt nothing from the past?

If city was just testing the water all well an good , if that's the case they should go back with a serious bid . At the moment they seem to be a million miles apart , also same old story no plan B if this doesn't come to fruit . This should all be done behind closed doors , not in the press!!!

6.) 10 Jul 2015 10:20:32
I think it could be a tester bid so then hull would know we are interested in buying seriously not just speculation and then hull get back to us and say how much they want for Brady realistically, they haven't mentioned as low as 5m before the bid so I think we should create another offer, it could have been tactical however crazy or embarrassing it was

7.) 10 Jul 2015 10:58:18
Gentlemen, I think the fact that Steve Bruce came out stating that it's was embarrassing for Norwich with the low bids made for Brady tells me that Hull are playing to the press, and trying to up the ante. Norwich will not comment on that statement, nor will they be bullied into making a stupid bid to get the player. perhaps they will go back with another bid, maybe the very disrespectful comments made by Bruce will encourage them to walk away, which I hope is the case.
Steve Bruce would do well to manage his own club, and based on money spent by him last year and their relegation does not seem of the highest order right now.

Norwich will quite rightly stay quiet and try to conduct their business outside of the press, both with a great deal of diligence and respect for the players and clubs involved.

The negative remarks about agreeing with Bruce and stating we should be paying the highly inflated quoted price of £7m for a player with one year left on his contract who does not want to stay, suggests you have no belief in your own management.

I am not one of those, and consider the MD and manager great assets for the Club who no doubt will surprise us with some great buys prior to the closing of the transfer window.

I have belief I'm our management, but my annoyance at city's constant penny pinching has only been fuelled this morning by the ticket prices for the palace game, £45!!!!!! I think it shows us in a very bad light and could damage future deals. We need to pay the going rate for players we deem good enough, if we are unwilling to pay 5m for Brady then how highly do we actually rate him, it's the same old tosh with Norwich, now and again spend some bloody money!!!!!

This is a negotiation. The slowest to walk to the middle wins. The objective isn't to make them like us.

Apparently we have just upped our offer anyway -it is now 3m plus McNally has agreed to put in an extra tenner to get a round of choc ices in for the Hull Board.

What a gent.

exactly right, I said the same thing and got a barrage of abuse earlier, we are taking the micheal bidding low low bids for good players, it make us looklike idiots, we demand 7m for snoddy yet refuse the same for brady??? really??? if we value him so low is he good enough to keep us in prem, speculate to accumulate, something Norwich never have and never will do!!

correct, get rid of the wolf!!! he wasn't bothered with us when we wnet down, now Lisbon won't pay him what he wants as he's not good enough and low and behold now we are up again he wants to play!!!!! he's a disgrace in my opinion and exactly the sort of player we don't want, get rid, ill pay for his flight myself

Couldn't agree more with anl, I will always love Ncfc but we will never be a top team as money will never be spent on top players, I can see where the club are coming from but no ambition will only lead to one result, another struggle of a season more than likely ending in relegation. The squad we have is not a premiership squad, they were relegated and deserved to be, Neil is a great manager but he needs funds to build his own team, not just carry on with Adams lot!!
